Club Socials
Ever since its founding in Chicago in 1905, Rotary has had a twofold interest – service and friendship. The heart and soul of a club is found not only in what we do, but also who we are. While Capital Rotarians share breakfast table fellowship at weekly meetings and when working together in club projects, we likewise enjoy each other’s company in social settings that build good will.
Our club’s spring and fall socials – and the yearly Christmas party – allow each of us to learn a little more about our fellow Rotarians. Potential members invited to these socials may experience a taste of the nature and character of our club, too. It’s the personal touch that keeps our members engaged in Rotary’s ideals of better relationships for, and beneficial service to, our community.
